Welcome to R&D Music! We are so excited to invite you to join us as we produce new, innovative music for your church. At R&D Music, we believe that music was created to glorify God in its message, Scriptural principles, and the beliefs of the writers and musicians. It is more than just finding a pretty melody, it is a sacred calling.

Our Story

R&D Music was founded by church musicians that want to use their skills and talents to glorify the Lord. Mike Russell is a gifted musician who has allowed the Lord to use him greatly in his local church. He has a passion for high quality, interesting arrangements and his desire for quality Christian music brings distinctive melodies to R&D music.

Many of the lyrics are written by Laurel Dalzell, who has used her gift for words to write ladies’ devotionals and children’s books. She has been a dedicated church musician for over 20 years. God has blessed her with a desire to honor and glorify the Lord through song writing.

What Sets Us Apart

  1. Our Beliefs:What we believe about the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible will influence what we write and what we produce. Michael Russell has a Bachelor’s Degree in music from Golden State Baptist College and Laurel Dalzell has a Church Ministries Degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary. We believe in the inspiration and preservation of Scripture We believe in Salvation by faith through grace alone. We have a desire to lift up the name of Jesus so that all men will be drawn to him.
